                                                                Chapter 1

Mike's father visited him in his house. They sat facing each other in his living room.
"I didn't know you were coming to visit me in my house dad, is there anything important that you want to talk to me huh Dad?" he asked looking at his father, Enrique.
"I want to see you son and you're right there's something I want  to talk to you about," his father's answer to him intently looking at him. "You know son, I'm getting older and older and you know that I've been longing to have a grandson."
"I know that dad," he answered smiling at him.
"You're already thirty years old and you have already proven to me and to so many people how good you are at managing our businesses. You're already a highly respected and successful businessman Mike."
"I know that Dad," he replied grinning at him.
His father just smiled at him. "But up to know you're still single."
"And I intend to keep it that way; besides, I still have a lot of plans for our companies," he answered.
"All you do is work. All you think about is to expand our businesses. You keep on working but you don't really have a family of your own to share it with. Who do you intend to leave all your wealth and properties, to me huh?" smiling a little he asked his beloved son.
Mike laughed at what his father had just told him. "You really dad," he just said.
"This is what I really came here for son," he said. "You know for a fact that I already have someone in mind, someone I want you to marry. When you were twenty-three and was already working in our company, I asked you to marry my best friend's daughter, Margaret. You refused and told me that you want instead to focus on your work, on our businesses. I give in and respected your decision. From then on I haven't brought up that topic anymore. But now, just like what I said earlier, you have proven yourself to everyone, to me son. Just do this for me son. Go and see Margaret. Just take her out, for a date. She's the best lady for you son. She's beautiful, any man would be proud to have her as his lady. Again son, just do this for me. If you still won't like her still after you had taken her out for a date, I promise I will no longer ask you to marry her," he ended seriously.
Mike looked at his father intently. He thought for a moment before he started talking. "Okay Dad, I'll do what you're asking me. But afterwards and we still haven't got along, you're no longer bringing up that marriage stuff once again," his calm answer to his father.
His answer made his father smile. "That's great son," happily he exclaimed. Afterwards he held on the sofa and stood up.
"Where are you going now Dad. Don't you want to stay longer here in my place and have lunch with me huh?" his question to his father.
"No son, I'd rather leave immediately, so you could start preparing yourself for your date with Margaret. It's a Sunday and you don't have work today," his answer to Mike smiling at him. Slowly,
